Artist's Comments

This one is my favourite, or second favourite rather, so it goes here. there were so many more, and these ones were so much clearer... *sigh* scanners are awful things.

I like the angle, the black & white, and the model. You wanted to add some mystery? Fine - it worked. But dont try interpolation on raster images (scale them or make them larger).
:iconjehanne:
O.o try that again, but word it as if i were a complete idiot. because i am.
thanks for suggestions?

In graphics usually you have 2 kinds of images. Raster images, which are images that have pixels like the one above, and vector images, wich are drawing like images (like the ones we use in Corel Draw, Freehand, and AI Adobe Illustrator). Vector images you can make them as big as you want without effecting the resolution of the image itself, but raster images if you make them larger they lose quality and become interpolated - kinda blured. So rule number one, after you scan you can scale your image (adjust the size) to make it small but not big. Please feel free to ask again.
:iconjehanne:
ah, that. that was blurry and crap because of my scanner, and grainy because of the darkroom ineptness of me.
that's the size it was when i scanned it, so i left it there cos i'm lazy ^_^
therefore, any loss of clarity just is. the scanner is crap.

Ok, ok, forgiven hehe...Don't forget to apply the Unsharpen Mask (in case you are using Photoshop), or sharp filter as the last step of your editing.:)

Sorry I can't offer critique for photography, and there's not much more to say than :"I like it. Alot."
